My Top 5 Make-up products of 2020 | January 2021

What a year 2020 was but I thought that it would be a good time to pull together my top 5 make-up products that I have been really enjoying. They are a broad range of products from primer to eye shadows. Check out the details below to find out which products made it into my 2020 top 5. 

MY TOP 5 MAKE-UP PRODUCTS OF 2020

1. URBAN DECAY ALL NIGHTER SETTING SPRAY

The Urban Decay All Nighter make-up setting spray is one of my favourite products so there was no doubt in it making my top 5 for 2020. I absolutely love this setting spray and use it all the time for setting my make-up. During 2020 I finished the Summer Solstice edition and knew instantly that I needed to replace it with another Urban Decay product as they really work well for me personally. If you are looking for a make-up setting spray that definitely fixes the look that you have created, I would recommend All Nighter from Urban Decay. 

2. L'OREAL PARIS INFALLIBLE PREP AND SET ESSENCE (PRIMER)

I really started getting into using primer before doing my make-up this last year and have a number of different products that I switch between but the L'Oreal Infallible Magic Essence Drops have become one of my favourites. As you can see from how much that I have left this has definitely been a favourite of mine this year and makes a really good base for any make-up products that I have used. It is also really affordable and definitely one that I will be stocking up on!

3. REVOLUTION CONCEAL & DEFINE CONCEALER

I have tried a number of different concealers from a range of brands but the one that I keep coming back to is the Revolution Conceal & Define. I have previously had this in the super sized version and wear shade C6. I find that this is quite a full coverage concealer but as it says on the label, it does a really good job of both concealing any blemishes/marks but at the same time is great for contouring and defining. 

4. SPECTRUM COLLECTIONS LIPSTICK - ELEMENT

I tend to prefer a matte nude lipstick at the moment and this one from Spectrum Collections in the shade Element has been a stand out favourite in 2020. I absolutely love the colour and the formula of the lipstick. It is also usually the one that I will always tend to use when wanting to do a natural lip. I have just purchased the shades Jupiter and Nova and am looking forward to trying them out this year. 

5. FENTY BEAUTY EYE SHADOWS

These Fenty Beauty Mix & Match Snapshadows have definitely become a firm favourite for creating eye looks. I absolutely love the fact that you can mix & match the different pallets and that they snap together which saves a lot of space. I currently have the pallets true neutrals (1) and cadet (7). You get 6 shades as part of each pallet which usually includes a mix of mattes and shimmers depending on the ones that you go for. I will definitely be looking at some of the other shades available and may add them to my collection this year.
